Two people were arrested over the weekend in Williston after a woman told agents she had an "experiment project" growing mushrooms in her kitchen.

Court documents show Williston Police were called to a home on 15th Avenue West after a report of heavy traffic to and from the house.

They say when they got there, they could smell marijuana coming from inside the home, and 29-year-old-Katherine Durica told police she had about a pound of marijuana.

Assisting in a search warrant, an agent with the Northwest Narcotics Task Force found multiple baggies containing marijuana, smoking devices and scales, as well as more than $4,000 in cash and firearms and ammunition.

Police say 29-year-old Sean Ferguson admitted those firearms were his. In the kitchen, law enforcement says they located a growing operation of psilocybin mushrooms, which Durica told officers was an "experiment project" and some were "finished".

Officers say there were about 20 schrooms on the kitchen counter.

Durica faces five charges, including manufacture of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. Ferguson faces four charges, including drug possession with intent to deliver.
