Cultivating mushroom for the first time got good results in Jingyuan, Gansu province

This year, Jingyuan in Gansu province introduced the producing technology equipment and raw materials of mushroom with the support of the Technology Bureau of the county for the first time. The Technology Bureau organized technicians and farmers to visit and study mushroom cultivation technology, invested some money to build two mushroom sheds, and introduced 30,000 bacterial rods. It is expected to earn more than 150,000 yuan each year. Until now, the mushroom has been produced with the market price of three to four yuan per half kilogram. It is evident that the mushroom industry become a new way of increasing farmers’income.
