Dr Patrick Harding will be giving an illustrated talk concentrating on the best edible wild fungi growing in Britain.
Patrick, who has been into mushrooms for over 30 years, will give advise on where to look for them and how to recognise them.
There will also be tips on how to preserve edible fungi and how best to cook the different species. And you'll also look at some of the poisonous species as it is always a good idea to know your enemies.
The evening takes place at Sheffield Hallam University on Wednesday, September 12 with a drinks reception at 7pm and the lecture from 7.45pm to 9pm.
