Mushroom walk in North Stonington Saturday

The North Stonington Citizens Land Alliance will host a mushroom walk through the Fowler-Grindstone Preserve Saturday morning. 
Laurie Gorham of the Connecticut Valley Mycological Society will lead walkers through the Lower Trail of the preserve, teaching how to identify wild mushrooms along the forest floor. 
The preserve is on Fowler Road in North Stonington. The walk is free and open to children and adults, and will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, with a rain date scheduled of Sept. 22.
